The color of honey. On the nose, apples, caramel, honey, a slight alcohol tingle. On the palate, a continuation of the apples mixed with spice, particularly clove, oak, a touch of smoke. Medium bodied and very complex. The finish is relatively quick and bitter like that of good black tea but the spiciness lingers wonderfully. Really an excellent dram, especially for the price.
