Octomore // Islay, Scotland

Tasting Notes
"This wild beast of a whisky has over the top aromas of smoldering barbecue, graphite, roasted seaweed, and zested lemon. The palate is dense and chewy and the barrels do a very good job providing enough sweet vanilla flavor to keep the wild smoke in check enough to be quite delicious. Certainly not for the faint of heart, but a delicious, peat-smoke soaked rollercoaster ride for the daring!"
