Reviewed January 20, 2025A complex, Blended Japanese Whisky by Ohishi Distillery on Kyushu, Lowlands, Japan made with organic mochi rice from Kumamoto & add gohyakumanishi rice; then blended from a small number of ex-Brandy barrels after aging. It has an aromatic birth with sake, a sour floral note & a hint of nuts; while a rich & thick life adds notes of honey syrup, tart apples, sake, hints of caramel & almonds; that led to a sour death of medium length with hints of oak tannins & toasted almonds.
