This genever is made with 100% maltwine--an amount that is very hard to find elsewhere. The maltwine is made from 2 parts rye to 1 part malted barley. Like the standard Old Duff Genever bottling, this too is made entirely in Holland from milling to bottling and all steps in between.
Only botanicals used are juniper and Bramling hops. Bottled at 90 proof. This is a very limited production.

GeneverGenever is a juniper-flavored spirit which combines a botanically-flavored, neutral spirit with a maltwine. Only made in Belgium, the Netherlands, and in specific regions of France and Germany. Jonge genever is made with a maximum of 15% maltwine. Oude genever uses at least 15% of maltwine. Korenwijn genever uses at least 51% of maltwine.

Tasting Notes
"A very rich and supremely malty spirit. This is the way un-aged spirit should be. A lovely nuttiness, accompanied, or better yet, outshined by the grains. Lightly spiced and with hints of citrus. The mouthfeel is syrupy and mouth-coating. Perfect to sip, or to mix. Add this to your home bar, if you have the opportunity."
