Old Ezra 7 Year 101 Proof Bourbon

Nose: dusty old wooden bookcase (weird I know lol), smells like a less sweet Jack Daniels on first smell Taste: salty, slight citrus, not very complex, not sweet, pretty thin, more burn than I would like... Not a fan of this one neat (better on ice). Would probably be decent in a mixed drink!

Slight vanilla notes on the nose underneath a dusty charcoal-esk aroma. Briney and salty taste, a little tartness and a little spice. Thin, not oily, though the finish still lingers a bit. It’s like if Evan Williams and Jack Daniels had a baby.

Not bad for the price. Carmel vanilla with a warm finish. Added a drop of water and brought out more cinnamon flavor

OBC Meet & Greet 2: this had a nice round, rich flavor but nothing standing out as distinct.
