Old Forester 1897 Bottled In Bond

Nose is sweet, leathery and fruity. Sweetness follows on the tongue, delicious serviceberry pie, followed by peppery spice and finally fading to mild woody aftertaste. Old Forester has a distinctive taste. Very nice.

Musty and sweet with less burn than 1920. Rich and lovely.

Kind of typical whiskey. Good but not special.
