Old Forester 1920 Prohibition Style

Initial nosing was overpowered by alcohol, but after resting caramel and vanilla dominated, followed by spice. Dry mouthfeel followed by a slight nuttiness and heat on the backend. Finished by a slight char. Not a lot of depth or lasting flavor.

#22 Banana on the nose but not overpowering. Oak on taste and a little burn on the finish

Banana, burnt sugar, vanilla, tobacco, cinnamon. So. Damn. Good!

One of the best things that Old Forester makes. 115 proof, so it stands up to a big ice cube or the ice your freezer makes. Long, 90-120 second plus finish.
