Smells like crème brûlée and tastes even better. Well balanced on the palate where the sweetness come through initially. Mid palate reveals a little spice, baked apple and oak to finish. Smooth and lingering finish of oak was satisfying and left me wsnting more.

Sweet tobacco, leather and oak on the nose. Palate is smokey, oak, and sweetness followed by a lingering leather and nutmeg finish that goes down quick and smooth. The smoke has a long pleasant linger in the mouth.

Sweet on fhe palate with a touch of spicy heat on the backend and notes of oak throughout. Smooth finish for a high proof spirit. Excellent for the price point.

Underrated! Great value!

Disappointing for a double oak. Barely pick up any oak on the nose or palate. Very light on any other flavor profiles other than a prominent spice. Just an all around light whiskey. Not a $100+ bottle one of their most disappointing releases.

Right off thw bat was hit with vanilla on the nose. Not a lot of complex flavors came through on the palate but oak and butterscotch were prominent on the front palate followed by a huge heat punch mid palate. The finish was not hot but dissipated fairly quickly.

Very dark color likely due to double oak and being non-chill filtered. Nose is sweet and oaky. Dry and spicy on front palate with double oak continuing to come through. Very little heat for 58.2 ABV and not a long finish. The sweetness upfront and on the nose got lost throughout.

Picking up the baking spices more on the nose. Picking up the pecan nuttiness on the palate and the sweetness of vanilla. Finish is smooth for a 50 abv but is subtlly long. My tongue keeps searching for more lingering flavors that arent there neat. Maybe they show up on ice. Stay tuned!

Huge fan of nutty and chunky peanut butter so being met mid-palate with a peanuty tatse was unexpectedly pleasing and enjoyable. The nuttines was followed by a spice note and soft notes of sweetness. The finish was lingering and lasted mostly mid palate but there's more to explore with this dram.

This was a father's day gift from my son. Picking up some baking spices on the palate and other spices on the finish. Theres an earthy and leather note coming through mid palate. It finishes like a rye with a spicey note at the end. The heirloom corn lends flavors more like a single malt whiskey than a typical bourbon. I keep going back for more to taste other flavors. This is an interestingly good drink.
