Nose: Dark caramel and old oak lead, followed by toasted pecan, leather, and vanilla bean. Palate: First sip delivers dark toffee, brown sugar, and roasted nuts, then rolls into cinnamon stick, cocoa powder, and a touch of black cherry. The mouthfeel is viscous and coating, with the proof bringing warmth. Finish: Long and warm. Dry oak, baking spice, and lingering caramel fade slowly, followed by a leathery note and gentle heat that hangs on well past the swallow. Very pleasant finish for a high proof (115+) bourbon.

Suprisingly easy-drinking barrel proof wheater. A bottle that reminds me why good wheated bourbon works: soft edges, deep sweetness, and warmth that settles in instead of being aggressive. A definite rebuy!

Hints of sweetness, dried fruit and spice were present on the nose. Mouthfeel was light. Upfront palate was had an initial sweetness followed by a hit of spice mid palate and a leathery oaky short finish. Would you buy again: No

Neat. Beautiful medium brown color. Nose of slight clove, vanilla, caramel and leather. The palate is well balanced with a nice punch of sweetness follwed by dry notes of leather and oak. Then the spice of the 121+ proof on the backend with a nice lingering finish that goes down really well for the proof.

Smells like crème brûlée and tastes even better. Well balanced on the palate where the sweetness come through initially. Mid palate reveals a little spice, baked apple and oak to finish. Smooth and lingering finish of oak was satisfying and left me wsnting more.

Sweet tobacco, leather and oak on the nose. Palate is smokey, oak, and sweetness followed by a lingering leather and nutmeg finish that goes down quick and smooth. The smoke has a long pleasant linger in the mouth.

Sweet on fhe palate with a touch of spicy heat on the backend and notes of oak throughout. Smooth finish for a high proof spirit. Excellent for the price point.
