Old Forester 1920 Prohibition Style

Initial strong alcohol on the nose followed by an aroma of vanilla. Taste is spicy and smokey with some hint of vanilla and wood. Medium to long finish, warming down the throat.

Spicy and strong

Astringent on the nose, as expected at 115 proof. Taste is smooth on the front and middle, with some molasses, brown sugar, and mint throughout. Good burn on the backend that is also typical of a bourbon at this proof. A solid buy and good sipper for a cold winter.
