Old Forester 1920 Prohibition Style

Quality. No issues here

Really sweet nose with surprisingly little alcohol burn considering the proof. Lots of fruit caramel and seemingly little rye spiciness compared to the other of’s I’ve had. Nice warm oaky finish.

Very strong, not bad for my newbie tastes

Very good and highly recommend. I think this one really opens up with a splash of water. Spicy pepper up front. Next cherry and dark chocolate/ cocoa. Followed by the classic KY hug and maybe some ginger.

Sweetly nuanced. Great depth with vanilla, caramel, orange marmalade, and some oiled leather. Great sipper!
