Nose has a big oak punch typical of OF, but not harsh. A carmel-molasses richness backs it up
Pallette is a big but mellow oak punch on the front, that rolls into a very rich mollases / brown sugar sweetness the rolls into a deep cherry / fig fruitiness. Finish is suprisingly short though- drops off pretty quick.
It would be a great $80-100 bottle. For $150 though, I think it would be hard to pull the trigger. There is better and more interesting whiskey out there for that price.
