Old Forester Birthday Bourbon 2021

I enjoyed this. Very oaky and fruity, but very approachable.

Nose caramel oak bready butterscotch. Taste is spicy oaky sweet with a sweet finish. Notes of caramel, vanilla, baking spices and oak. Great pour.

Fruity nose. Oily texture. On the spicy side. Nice warm feeling going down. Good bourbon but not fantastic

Nose is sweet and creamy. Some fruit, wood, lots of spice throughout. Lingers in the finish. It’s everything you want in bourbon but can’t find that standout factor you would want from a special release. That isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but might not buy another pour
