Old Forester Statesman

There's a nice sweetness hidden in there, but mostly this seemed young and boring.

Cherry and burn, just weird burn. Not my fav.

So, upon further consumption, I’m thinking that this might be one of the best $50 bottles of bourbon that I’ve had as of recent..and because of that, it deserves a much greater score than my initial campaign.

Super solid for the price point. It’s definitely a touch spicy hot in the finish but I find it a welcome layer of depth after the super velvety sweetness in the middle.
