Old Forester Statesman

Honestly, not digging the nose on this one. Palate is pretty good though. Sweet tobacco and molasses. Little bit of lumber. It’s good, but I doubt I’ll buy another bottle. And I’m on my 4th bottle of Mellow Corn. And that’s about as good as it gets.

Very fruity. Very smooth.

Nose: Sweet, caramel corn, peanut brittle, ethanol Taste: Vanilla forward, spicy medium finish

Butter pecan nose. The smoothest of the Forester line. Cinnamon overtone with brown sugar undertone. Finishes in musk and cardamom that is almost offensive. Mediocre, just like the movie.
