Originally matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels, the Old Pulteney 16 Year Traveller's Exclusive was finished in ex-oloroso sherry casks.

Tasting Notes
"A quick hit of vanilla followed by some spicy oak, but then there's room for gentle oranges and lemon curd with touches of a damp meadow. The nose is somewhat chalky, but lacks a certain coastalness. A classic Pulteney arrival on the palate, with some white pepper and fresh ginger, as well as a nice nuttiness. Of course the bitter lemon zest and slight saltiness—a staple of any Pulteney—are here. The lack of oomph on the nose is made up with a classic Pulteney palate."
