Distilled on the Isle of Mull, Tobermory 12 Year is a new flagship single malt from the distillery and it replaces its 10 year bottling. This bottling, an unpeated single malt, matured in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels before finishing its maturation in virgin American oak casks for up to nine months.
It is bottled at a cask strength of 46.3% with natural color and without chill-filtration.

Tasting Notes
"The nose is quite earthy with a hint of sweet malt and vanilla custard, but also some orange zest. Just a tinge of copper coins and plenty of minerality. The prominent barley notes on the palate are accompanied by vibrant citrus flavors, quickly followed by a hit of oak shavings and spices—this is were the virgin oak makes its presence known. Rather rich and pretty well put together, this Tobermory is a wonderful introduction to the distillery."
