Tasting Notes
"Sweet roasted corn is the first aroma out of the glass, followed by a healthy dousing of vanilla. The wood is there, but has that classic raw sawdust note that's typicall of small-barrel aging. The palate reveals more corn and vanilla with a hint of the oak (much better-integrated than on the nose!). The finish is short and sweet. This is clearly a young distillery and has a ways to go, but their bourbon has good bones. Hopefully in time, they will be able to age their whiskey in larger barrels for longer periods of time. Good things ahead for them"
