Reviewed July 28, 2020 (edited July 31, 2020)Rating: 16/23 The nose has pine and lemon, a bit like dish soap, but clean and refreshing. The palate is light yet rich with a nice clean pine flavor that is richer and oiler than expected with the citrus pushed back a bit, separating it from the dish soap character of the nose. This is a very enjoyable gin. I get some essence of stone, peppery prickling, and some occasional allusions to deeper complexity, but mostly this is just a very well executed clean gin that is enough more interesting than Oregon Spirit's vodka to be notably better. I'm thinking 15 to 17. It's really quite good.30.0 USD per Bottle -

Reviewed July 23, 2020 (edited July 24, 2020)The nose has some nice fresh pine and light fresh bitterness. It's a refreshing scent but also concerningly light. The palate is bitter, dry, clean, and light with a strong juniper presence. Honestly, this is exactly what I expected from Oregon Spirirt after trying their vodka, which is very neutral but also not very interesting. So they took that and added juniper. Yep, it's the quintessential neutral gin. The flavors are clean and well executed, but not very interesting. There is a hint of oily savoriness they is exactly like pine nuts, which is actually really interesting and unique. It's not super complex, but the flavors it has are clean and well-executed so it's easy to drink and would likely mix fairly well despite its lack of complexity. It's enjoyable for sip though. On a hot summer day, this would be a good choice. I really especially like the pine nuts flavor and how the alcohol doesn't really stand out. I can just sit, sip, and enjoy that for a while.30.0 USD per Bottle
