Reviewed December 4, 2015 (edited April 24, 2018)Malt up front remind me of balvenie but back end there it some bourbon Cimarron maple syrup. .tasted oily sweet dried fruit spices some of bellpepper which I like ,earthy .finished spices burn in the good way, smooth long and linger ..this whiskey it great -

Reviewed October 21, 2015 (edited November 15, 2015)This round of Parker's hasn't gotten a whole lot of love compared to previous releases, but I'm into the Malt. It's definitely not a bourbon, but clearly has been bred from corn as the sweetness has not been lost. Loving the carmel/peanut flavor profile. The nose promises a bit more than the palate delivers, but extremely mild mannered going down for a 108 proofer. Neat, glencairn glass.
