Peerless Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon

Nose: Sweet, warm vanilla like the bottom layer of a cake. Palate: Fruity, cherries on top of a vanilla cake, it’s sweet and well balanced, full of flavor. The oak barrel is long and smooth and rides our slowly adding dimension. Finish: The sweetness on the front hang out with the oak on the end, riding out towards the sunset in unison.

Phenomenal crisp flavors. Believe this has a lot to do with the use of a sweet mash vs a sour mash. This is one where it will sneak up on you.

It’s better than the Rye I wasted $100+ beans on, but it is just average juice at best. The only thing I can say is that it is as if it has its own flavor profile, which is nice. Meaning it doesn’t remind me of any other bourbons. Another thing, is that dill I am picking up on the back end??? Does anyone else pick that up or am I way off base. It’s probably just me. Either way, I will keep the bottle as a trophy in the garage and not spend another $65 on the liquid in it in the future.

Big bite, fruity after taste, will age well, strong nose

A little bit of a harsh after bite but expected with a 110 proof. If you have had similar proofs for the price well worth it
