Nose: I rich herbal and orange note up front. It gives way to a soft floral aroma that carries a oak-vanilla. Quite pretty. Palate: sweet, soft vanilla and orange punch you in the face. A nice spice that’s not overpowering helps those oily notes linger around for awhile. Finish: that soft spice and vanilla note hangs out like old friends that don’t know when to leave. Nose: Sweet cherry vanilla spices. Not holiday exactly but a warm spice. Palate: The nose comes through on the palate and brings raisons and and sweet figs. The cherry comes through will a vanilla spice. Finish: Sweet oak and those holiday spices linger and walk away slowly.

Nose: Leathery sweetness with a touch of cherries. Palate: sweet and spicy with amazing cherry undertones. The oak is soft and hangs out with the spice right at the end. Finish: Short and lovely. The oak and rye walk into the sunset holding hands. It’s oily and has legs for days. She’s pretty walking down the glass.

Nose: Vanilla and cinnamon with a light holiday spice. Palate: well balanced flavors with that cinnamon back up front. The vanilla softens the spice and its rich, creamy consistency battles the oak on the end. Finish: The vanilla and oak ride it out. The oily nature helps the finish go quietly. Not big and bold but soft and smooth. This to me has proven itself next to Bookers for less than 1/2 the price.

Nose: Sweet, warm vanilla like the bottom layer of a cake. Palate: Fruity, cherries on top of a vanilla cake, it’s sweet and well balanced, full of flavor. The oak barrel is long and smooth and rides our slowly adding dimension. Finish: The sweetness on the front hang out with the oak on the end, riding out towards the sunset in unison.

Nose: Dried fruit, grapes with a spicy holiday note. Taste: Spice jumps around your mouth like a machine band in the summer. Dried cherries and holiday spice helps a soft oak. It’s a rich, full bodied attack of flavor that hits you like a blind a buss driver. Finish: The spice hangs on long after the gold goes down. The dried fruit also continues to linger around like that friend who won’t leave your house at 4am. Good buy. Don’t be scared to feel off that beautiful black wax to get that liquid gold.

Nose: Sweet vanilla with a lovely smoke I can only attribute to the 10 year making up 17% according to the bottle. Palate: A burnt caramel with a spicy rye front and forward. The sweet vanilla quickly follows and rides the spice out. The smoke on the nose compliments the spice of the rye very well. Finish: Vanilla spice has a long slow finish. Makes it easy to wait between sips. A great buy if you like a rye with a little depth of flavor.

Nose: A cherry vanilla farm. This is as sweet and savory as they come. A fantastically balanced bourbon. Palate: spicy and rich, this bourbon carries a traditional Bulleit to a new level. The bourbon hangs out on your tongue like a great party you don’t want to end. Finish: As smooth as it started, if you enjoy the taste it’ll let you enjoy a little more. Exactly what i expected in a good way.

Nose: Strong holiday baking spices with a emphasis on vanilla. Palate: The vanilla carries through but the rye shines greatly. The youth of this whisky comes through and is sharp and direct. That rye stays with you throughout the experience. Finish: The rye hangs on longer than you’d expect. The sharp holiday gingerbread spice keeps at it long after you’ve allowed the gold to slide down. This whiskey can hold its weight against anything thrown at it, cocktails or sink on the rocks.
