Reviewed December 23, 2024Nice dark amber color, not much for legs in the glass. Nose brings new tanned leather, sweet cooked cherries, prunes, light smokey wood, and hay in a barn. First sip was on the bitter side, but after airing out the glass, the flavors of the nose come out. Oak and cherries lead the way. Finish turns dark, not quite chocolatey, but definitely bittersweet. A tinge of black pepper, but not intense. Adding ice, mellows the flavors and brings fruit and sweetness forward, candied apple. Nice whiskey, not sure its worth the asking price, but Peerless runs on the expensive side.90.0 USD per Bottle
