Penderyn Madeira

Nose: delicate. vanilla, oak, orange, leather Palate: figs, raisins, pepper, nutty Finish: dry, malty, slightly smokey

We went outside the box to try a different whiskey. Not a fan. I like the sweetness of the Madeira but it’s a whiskey that tastes weird. It’s not like Scotch and it’s not like Irish, it has a funky taste that I can’t pinpoint.
