Pikesville Straight Rye

Does not sip like a 110p! Also not at all spicy like you expect from a Rye. Not a super complex flavor profile in my opinion. Super approachable though!

Good legs, oily in appearance N: caramel, oak, black licorice Mouth: oak and rye forward with a full body. Not too punchy for the proof-but the warmth sticks with you. Overall: I’m not a huge rye guy, but this one gets it right.

My first rye. Some sweet spice and maybe some cinnamon? Very warming and drinkable.

Nice rye with the usual subtle spice kick to be enjoyed. Would buy again, especially because of this Rye’s Maryland origin.

Classic rye nose with sweetness of the high % of corn on the pallet. I’m not a rye guy, but this is not bad at all—and by that I mean “poor me another dram!”
