Color: Dark Amber
Nose: Vanilla, ripe apple, then caramel with a very light hint of oak at the end.
Palate: Lighter bodied and velvety mouth feel. Caramel and fruit at front with a spiciness that warms up to a lingering spicy and fruity finish.
Nose: ethanol, sweet and spicey rye
Palate: Smooth for a rye, not overly complex. Proof is more in the nose, no burn. Leaves a nice spiced finish on the tongue.
I’m reviewing the 110 proof
Nose is piney and ethanol very herbaceous and forest like some anise and maybe some dill
Palate is full and warm with typical rye spice
Sort of unremarkable. Certainly not bad but nothing that makes me think this is a must have.
