Reviewed August 21, 2022 (edited November 12, 2022)This is the Binny’s Single Barrel pick, so it’s unique. Nose: high-proof heat with some caramel/butterscotch sweetness and undertones of green apple. Perhaps (very tentatively) some mint. Palate: the high proof and caramel carry over to coat the tongue all the way to the back of the throat, leaving some light oak back there with it. Apple sweetness floats lightly around the mid-palate atop the linger baking spices. The long finish is welcome because of it’s warm pie intimation.
