Plantation XO 20th Anniversary Rum

Had higher expectations for this rum. The nose is nice with banana, oak, pineapple and butterscotch. The palate started pretty weak but starts to build in complexity. The butterscotch and vanilla hits early on and the fruits show up on the finish along with baking spices. Didn’t really experience Hogo but hoping it shows up as the bottle starts to empty

All I can say is WOW! So smooth! Ton of baking spice notes with slight chocolate finish.
