Port Charlotte Islay Barley

Spicy and salty, peated at the edge of the "burnt rubber" aftertaste: interesting and complex, but not unforgettable. Short and acute finish. ________________________________________________________________________________ Speziato e salino, torbato al limite del retrogusto di “gomma bruciata”: interessante e complesso, ma non indimenticabile. Finale breve ed acuto.

Really nice, but a little too peaty for me. Hint of vanilla and briney flavor as well.

Sea Salt and Lemon on the front and wide open peat on the back. Ashy finish.

Great smoke, very peaty. Also some sweet notes that help with the smoothness. It’s not my favorite Islay scotch, but it’s a very good one.
