The Quiet Man 8 Year Single Malt

Bright red fruits, coconut.

Fruit and wood nose. Strong flavor, hints of light fruit, wood, leather, and spice. A rather short finish but pleasant

Very different. Mild, smooth, slightly astringent, fruity and a little floral.

A bit bland but not offensive. I haven't tried the standard Quiet Man offering yet so I can't compare. Seems similar to Slane but smoother. Heavy on tropical fruit notes like mango and apricot, fades quickly on the palate. Better on the nose. Might buy again but price is high for Irish.

Nose: Honey, Apple Palate: Toffee Apple, Pear, Vanilla, Orange Peels. Finish: Light Oak, Ginger Snap
