Tasting Notes
"This aguardente is produced from the bagasse (pulpy residue) left behind from producting Vinho Verde wine, a young, often fizzy, wine. As such, this spirit combines the bright fruit of the wine with herbaceous notes and a touch of woodiness. Despite the reputation of "fire water," this aguardente has enough sweetness and complexity to reward sipping neat."
