"The pear flavors are intense and fresh. Both the earthy peel and the ripe, slightly floral fruit appear foremost on the palate, with softer flavors of vanilla and caramel, and a touch of sweet spices. The flavors and aromas are very tight and concentrated when sipped neat, and the producer suggests serving it chilled to bring out more subtle nuances, which accomplishes that result nicely. "
