RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"The aroma leans towards vanilla, caramel-covered popcorn, and fresh apples. Moving on to the taste, the rye is light-bodied and spice forward with a little char smoke. The whiskey is prickly on the palate, but there's enough softness there to help not feel drying or rough/tannic. The finish is short, but pleasant enough with a bittersweet, tangy profile. Not a sipper, but fine to shoot or mix especially at this price point."
