CanadianDistilled in Canada and aged in barrels for at least three years. Often, but not always, Canadian whiskies are blends of corn, barley and rye which are distilled and matured separately.
Tasting Notes
"On the nose you'll find some nutty notes along with light oak and gentle barrel spices. Subsequent nosings brings forth more fruit notes like pear which together reminds you of a pear pastry along with a smoldering char accent. The taste is lightly sweet and the barrel spices become more lively on the palate. There's also a metallic note in the background. The body is medium-light and the finish is just a touch bitter with gentle vanilla. For a whisky of this age, depth seems to be lacking and the finish is shorter than you'd expect. "
