Rebel Yell Small Batch Reserve Bourbon
Rebel Yell // Kentucky, USA
Introduced in 2008, this is made at the Bernheim distillery by Heaven Hill for the Luxco corporation. This is an NAS (Non-Age Statement) whiskey though it is widely believed that it is an older whiskey than the standard Rebel Yell. The mash bill consists of corn, wheat, and malted barley, though the bottle does not state in what percentages. In 2015, this product got an updated packaging and name from Rebel Reserve to Rebel Yell Small Batch Reserve.
BourbonProduced anywhere in USA; Mash bill of at least 51% corn; aged in new, charred oak barrels.

"Gather round the campfire and bring a can opener. Sizzle some preserved mangos, canned corn, and a bag of marshmallows over wood planks for some sugary fumes. Now serve it up. The palate is hot and juicy but opens with a pile of toasted oak, gooey marshmallows, and a short tannic finish. Chew on this for a while you can also pick up some mild salt notes."
