Rebel Yell Kentucky Straight Bourbon (Discontinued)

Definitely a lighter drinking bourbon. It has a smooth feel and aftertaste almost like a mid shelf blended scotch. Slightly sweet with a fruity aroma. Nothing too special here, though. It's a good solid sipping bourbon for a hot afternoon.

It has an earthy, grassy flavor across the nose to the finish. The wheat is very forward. There's an almost rye tang in the nose, but the bready wheat tempers it a bit. It's kind of rye - like until the finish. I'm not getting any of the fruitiness that others find. It's a taste world of grain. Grain is ok.
