Redbreast Tawny Port Cask Edition is the third release in the brand's Iberian Series. This limited edition single pot still release was crafted by Master Blender Billy Leighton and Blender Dave McCabe. Initially it was matured in ex-bourbon and oloroso sherry barrels. Then a portion of these whiskeys were recasked into Tawny Port casks.
Finally, the whiskeys were married and received a final maturation into freshly seasoned Tawny Port hogsheads for 14-25 months. Available in the US as of September 2023. (SRP $99.99).

Single Pot StillProduced in Ireland from a mash of unmalted and malted barley (30% each required) from one distillery. Traditionally, it is distilled three times in a pot still. Up to 5% of other grains allowed. Must be aged for at least three years.

Tasting Notes
"The aroma is inviting with a malty and fruity profile. (cherries and oranges. There's also a mild sweet milk chocolate note. It's moderately full on the palate and lightly sweet. As you move on to the finish you'll find barrel spices giving the whiskey some zing and a gentle oak flavor at the finish. The fruity profile from the nose is still with you as is the toasted malt flavor providing some heft. "
