Redwood Empire Lost Monarch Whiskey

Berry blast of a dram. Lots of berry fruits in front and mid palate. An easy and nice sipper. Well worth the price.

Having a hard time picking up definite flavors. It’s good. Combo of oak and a bitter/sharp vanilla (in a good way…can see how someone said vanilla cake icing) that’s unique in a light, easy sipper. Not picking up the peppery/spiciness after it’s been opened a few months. The more I drink it, the more I like it.

Very smooth neat drinking.

Will I buy it again? No

Sweet and spicy but the spice doesn’t linger. Well balanced. A few drops of water really brings out the sweet and tampers the spice.
