Redwood Empire Lost Monarch Whiskey

Just came to add a note to all bartenders; stock this in your bar. While it’s a fine sipper, it would be great in a Manhattan. In fact it would be perfect! (Bad pun. Sorry). Good value.

Nothing special about this bourye, good balance of oak, vanilla, caramel, and rye spice. The nose is great and the finish is longer than expected at only 90 proof, the palate is acceptable but is definitely the aspect that is the most nondescript and lacking overall. Solid daily sipper for sure.

Vanilla and fruity with dill-like spice fragrant on the nose, all deliver on the palate with a little bit of oak. You can pick up the rye but it's defiantly not harsh. Scotch drinker's bourbon & rye blend.

Best of both worlds, Rye and Bourbon! I've been loving this in classic bourbon cocktails for some extra kick!
