Rhetoric 25 Year Bourbon

Musty oak. Wood tannin. Mushroom. Rusty iron. Earth.

Butterscotch all the way on the nose. Palate was full of oak, finish lingered for a long time. Smooth, but not as smooth as I would expect for the age.

nose: Sweet, mature, smoky/oaky palate: bittersweet, licorice? finish: smooth

Like chewing on tasty oak.

It smells like a butterscotch candy. I don’t want to drink it because it will be gone if I do.
