RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"Considering its age, a lot of vibrant flavors are present on the palate. Its prolonged hibernation in the barrel gives it noticeable aromatic woodsy accents, but those are nicely tempered with sweetness and spice. A bit of tobacco smoke wafts into the finish - kind of like drinking on a park bench a few feet away from a charismatic gent with a pipe. Definitely tastes mature, but not yet over the hill."
