Was fortunate enough to have a small sample of this right after my sample of redbreast 27. It definitely didn't measure up to the 27 year old Irish whiskey, but it was quite delicious. I didn't really have enough to get in-depth notes, but the one taste that stood out to me was sweet tea. I would definitely pick this up at retail if I ever lucked into finding it, but the secondary price is absurd.
Nose - Super caramelly. Super sweet candied nuts. Apple smoked wood chips.
Palate - Oak and buttery sweetness. Not overly sweet, nicely balanced. Some floral notes. Slight peppery notes but again very subtle not overpowering. Classic cherry notes but also jot subtle. Feels like a good variety mix of multiple classic bourbon notes across the board.
Finish - Cinnamon hots candy. Some peppery red wine notes at the end, like a barrel aged cabernet.
