Reviewed May 10, 2026A bold, Aged Rum by Master Blender Lorena Vásquez in the Dominican Republic with the soul of Cuban rum-making. It is crafted with portions of Molasses-based rum & Juice-based rum distilled in copper pot stills & column stills, that is aged in ex-Jack Daniels Bourbon barrels for 18 years using the Solera method before being bottled at 40% ABV. It has an aromatic birth with notes of fresh sugarcane, fruits, wood, flowers, nuts, herbs & spices; while a bold life adds notes of vanilla, raisin, fig & jasmine; that led to a long & warm death with notes of oak, coffee & caramelized brown sugar.
