Ron Botran 18 Year Old Solera 1893

An elegant, aged rum by Industrias Licoreras de Guatemala Distillery in Guatemala; where production & aging takes place above 7000 feet in elevation. It is crafted with locally sourced sugar cane & aged for 18 years using the Solera method, in American oak, Sherry & Port casks. It has an aromatic birth with notes of dried fruits, crushed nuts covered in honey, apricot, turbino, sultanas & oak; while a rich & complex life adds notes of coffee bean, raisin, caramel, sweet vanilla & floral oak; that led to a long, rich & savory death with notes of citrus, port & sherry.
