Reviewed June 5, 2017 (edited June 6, 2017)This is some sweet rum, in both the literal and figurative sense of the word. Both nose and palate are tremendously rich and full, positively oozing with toffee, ripe banana, burnt sugar, and a fruitiness both dark and tropical. The finish is long and rich, with roasted wood notes coming in to round things off. I could see this making a perfect end to a fine Central American meal...or about any other time that you're in the mood for something in the "dessert dram" family. Not that I'd necessarily feel the need to mix this with anything, but I'm also willing to wager that it would get along really well with black coffee in a cocktail of some sort. -

Reviewed August 7, 2016Kinda Sweet, quite smooth, easy to drink just burn a bit. Great bourbon profile, some toffee and vanilla. For sure there is wood profile and feels aged. I consider it is balance and classic rum, such as Mount gay. I let it rest to get some oxigen and them start sipping it straight from the glass, amazing better than zacapa, not than sweet more balance and complex IMO
