Very mild and smooth overall aroma on the nose with lots of warm vanilla, a delicate touch of woodiness and a tickle of zest. The arrival cascades into a full delivery of warmth and burnt sugar-esque sweetness turning into a minty fresh finish with marcipan and undertones of the ex-Bourbon cask wood imparting a beautiful and lingering sweet finish. An excellent sipping rum, best enjoyed neat to appreciate the flavour. You could give this to anyone just to wet their lips and they'll probably be surprised by how easy drinking it is. I ended up going through my bottle in no time at all because it was so easy to sip on in the evening after a long day.
