Ron Diplomático Mantuano Rum

Nose is caramel, vanilla, banana, and semi sweet dark chocolate with a tinge of orange peel and a wee bit of clove. On the palate the vanilla and caramel come on strong coating the tongue and back of the throat. There is the slightest amount of spice but it is very mild and almost indiscernible with the amount of sweetness this rum puts out. On the nose it is rich with dark fruits, cinnamon, Christmas cake, caramel. On the palate it is creamy with dark fruits, sweet cake, milk with cinnamon, finishing with sweet oaky spices. Very good price to quality ratio.
