Ron Diplomático Reserva Exclusiva Rum

On the nose, oooh... Very sweet, bordering way too sweet, but delightfully plummy, some sharp caramel and a touch of woody spice. Thick and syrupy in the mouth, coats the entire palate. Creamy, smooth and playful floral notes along with with dark fruits, especially prune... Finish is a little hot, but plummy and complimenting. Definitely the best rum I've ever had, thanks to the unbelievable generosity of our meritorious Pranay for the bottle! Dry Glass: Prune and dark chocolate.

Tasty but too sweet, at least for a scotch drinker. Unhappy to read they add a ton of sugar, would be much better if they hadn't.
