RyeUnlike bourbon, rye whiskey can be made anywhere in the world. But if made in the US, the mash bill recipe must be at least 51% rye and it must be aged in new, charred oak barrels with no age requirement. Elsewhere, the rye whiskey will be made keeping the country of origin's rules regarding the recipe and minimum aging.

Tasting Notes
"The aroma on the nose isn't too strong, but it leans towards savory side with moderate/mild aromas of cereal grain (Grape Nuts cereal) and a mild char smoke. The whiskey is soft and full on the palate with just the slightest sweetness on the tip of your tongue. It's tangy and bitter as you finish the whiskey and it's dry, but not too rough. Best for those that enjoy hearty, grain-forward whiskeys and less sweet."
