Tasting Notes
"Even at this high proof, you can still get quite a lot on the nose like sweet corn, vanilla, and around the edges are aromas that are reminiscent to chocolate chip cookies (crispy, not soft). It's got a medium full body which is soft with a bit of char smoke flavor. Drinking it neat, it's a bit hot and lightly chewy towards the finish with oak tannins. The mid-palate flavors are a bit bitter and tangy while the finish is ultra-long and satisfying. A splash of water or large ice cube will bring out a bit of a richer profile and helps the "medicine" go down. One to seek out, especially if you can buy at retail price."
