Reviewed September 3, 2015 (edited November 11, 2017)Way less spicy or hot than I would have expected from a 100-proof, high rye bourbon. Not sweet, but not too spicy either. Just very flavorful. I agree with the comments about an "oily" texture, in a good way. And I do get some cherries on the finish.
